Reflected, Which way by TPJerematic Reflected, Which way by TPJerematic
This is from a set I am doing as a project for my first client ^w^ taking photos of their Nursing Home for the company brochure.

The lake was so still and the early morning sun made it like glass...

So I flipped the image, giving this really cool upside down view.
:iconthewitchofgrich:
I firstly mistook the sky for the frozen lake and snow as my eyes were focused on the centre of the photo and then it occurred to me how the trees were still green. I also had to think twice about the reflection - not having noticed the grass I thought it was added in the editing program, but the blur seemed too genuine to be manipulated. Those first two seconds made me think how very wrong I was.
Whereas the clouds are highly defined and are gradually 'thickening' towards the centre, the water is very dark on edges, which adds to the contrast. Compared to the dark grey reflection, the light grey colour of the clouds looks almost white. The mansion is well-centered and an excellent subject, considering it is completely surrounded with nature which makes it stand out.
It definitely made me wish I had been the one who had taken the photograph.

This is undoubtedly the first ''upside down'' photograph with the reflection I've ever seen.
Very original, very unique and very beautiful.
Just perfect!
